Executive Vice President, Client Services
Kushal Dutta, EVP of Client Services, has over 25 years of experience in leading the planning, resource management and delivery of enterprise software products. During his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 clientele as well as the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.
Kushal started his career with Tata Burroughs Ltd in India, a Burroughs subsidiary, where he worked on Burroughs mainframe applications using DMS II database management system. He spent the first 10 years of his career working in India and South East Asian region, namely Singapore and Malaysia. He joined Optum, a leading supply chain software company based in Southern California in 1993, working on application development using Oracle database platform. He worked for 12 years with the company, rising to the level of Vice President, providing leadership to a global software development and delivery team.
After the merger of Optum with Click Commerce 2005, Kushal became the general Manager of the Supply Chain Division of the company. His experience and efforts benefited the company as well as his customers. He has driven complex software development and delivery projects, provided leadership to cross-functional teams and successfully managed global delivery of projects over $40m in budget. He has spearheaded projects implementing fulfillment strategies that incorporate lean operations principles, resulting cost savings and revenue increases for his clientele. In a nutshell, Kushal has worked with client executives helping them translate their strategies into beneficial initiatives, while driving delivery teams to see through to the end result and helping his clients achieve their ROI’s.
Outside of work, Kushal has been involved with the local community in many ways. He has been involved with administration of youth soccer in the Irvine area since 2005. He is an active soccer referee, and is seen running around in the fields of Irvine during the weekends with his yellow striped shirt and a whistle. He is also involved with the Boy Scouts of America, volunteering in various capacities, and has two children both of whom have attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
Kushal has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters in Computer Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, better known as IIT.
